Enterprise Linux Administrator Lead

PST seeks a seasoned IT professional to lead its Linux system administration team. As an Enterprise Linux Administrator Lead, you will be responsible for managing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and security.

This role involves collaborating with the IT Admin Lead to develop and implement effective strategies for maintaining the organization's IT systems. You will serve as the primary point of contact in the absence of the IT Admin Lead, guaranteeing continuity in team operations.

A strong background in Linux administration, automation, and leadership is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large-scale Linux-based systems, scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python), DevOps, virtualization, and Ansible.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering results in a remote working environment. Additionally, they will have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and be open to overlapping with Central European Time.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain PST's Linux-based systems
• Develop and implement automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Collaborate with the IT Admin Lead to ensure effective IT infrastructure management
• Lead the Linux system administration team and provide guidance and support
• Ensure continuity in team operations in the absence of the IT Admin Lead
