Supermarket / Warehouse Supervisor

Work Location: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea

A warehouse and supermarket supervisor duties includes overseeing daily warehouse operations, such as receiving, storing, and shipping goods, while also managing inventory, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and leading staff through training, performance evaluation, and task delegation. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate with other departments, maintain accurate records, and improve efficiency.

Job responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations: Manage and oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Lead and train staff: Direct warehouse employees, provide training, set performance standards, and give feedback.
• Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular counts, and maintain accurate inventory records to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure safety and compliance: Enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and conduct routine inspections of the warehouse.
• Coordinate with other departments: Liaise with logistics, customer service, and other teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and smooth operations.
• Optimize processes: Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize costs.
• Maintain equipment: Monitor the condition of warehouse equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and used.
• Handle administrative tasks: Prepare reports on warehouse performance and staff productivity, and maintain relevant records.

Skills and qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse or similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
