Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Leader role based in Limpio. The Project Leader will plan, coordinate, and oversee technical and operational projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with Elkem’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards. Responsibilities include defining project scope and objectives, developing schedules and resource plans, and managing budgets and timelines. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, facilitating communication among stakeholders, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track. The Project Leader will also prepare progress reports, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to process optimization and best practice sharing across the organization. Qualifications
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in industrial, manufacturing, or materials-related environments, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including clear reporting, meeting facilitation, and relationship building with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant education in engineering, materials science, project management, or a related field; professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software; familiarity with industrial processes, lean methodologies, or continuous improvement frameworks is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Limpio, adapt to a dynamic environment, and maintain a proactive, responsible approach to health, safety, and environmental standards.
