About the Role

The
Accounting Manager
will be responsible for leading all accounting and bookkeeping activities across the region, as well as coordinating and overseeing statutory and consolidated audit support processes for all operating companies. The role will manage the month-end closing process by designing timelines and checklists and ensuring their consistent execution. The Accounting Manager will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and will design, strengthen, and continuously improve accounting and reporting processes to support management decision-making and timely business performance monitoring. In addition, the role will lead, coach, train, and develop the regional accounting team.

Required Education and Experience

  • Accounting degree.
  • More than 5 years of experience in leadership positions such as General Accountant in a multicultural environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong background in IFRS/Local GAAP compliance.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate and build bridges with multiple departments across different countries.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced certifications like CPA.
  • Experience in logistics/shipping companies.
  • Experience working with SAP.
